Hi Stew, thanks for taking the time to speak to deliriousonline.co.uk! How is the delirious? life in the office at the moment?

Life ‘in the office’ is great, we are actually rehearsing for the UK tour which begins on the 5th Oct. The new songs from WS sound amazing live. We can’t wait to get out there in front of the UK crowds again.

So, what are your thoughts on your latest album, World Service? How does it differ from previous albums?

I think it’s the best and most complete album we have made, it’s got the good old anthemic delirious? Church songs along with the more edgy radio stuff which stands up against anything out there.

Listening to the difference between AudioLessonover? And World Service, there is a distinct spiritual content difference. You seemed to have gone from a ‘mainstream’ focus to a worship album focus. What would you say has caused that change?

We have always had a ‘mainstream’ focus. I think the main difference is that ‘Audio Lessonover’ came at a time when we wanted to connect with the general market a little more, we are know in a different season and ‘World Service’ reflects that, I also think we are more confident to be ourselves more than ever, over the years we have dipped our toes into a different world which has been part of our mission, ‘World Service’ has almost brought us back to our first love.

Are there any tracks you are especially proud of and looking forward to playing in front of the massive video screen on tour?

I can’ t wait to play FREE, it¹s a great song which we have saved for the tour.

On a sound level, World Service does seem to have progressed a lot since previous albums. There is a different vibe to the album that shows yet another side to the band. How did this come about? Was it a conscious change or just a natural progression?

I’m glad you feel that ‘World Service’ has progressed in terms of the sound and production, it¹s always been important to us especially as most of the band worked in studio’s before Delirious? It was a conscious change to be a little more ‘live’ with more open sounds.

Ok, it has to be asked, you have released two singles in Germany so far and they have been a great success for you. Will there be any Uk singles on the horizon?

None

Last year you spent time at the Hillsong Conference and are now joint with the band on their Unified : Praise album. How was it working with the Hillsong church and can we expect more joint albums from you guys?

We have been over a couple of times to Hill Song, they are great people and it was an absolute privilege for us to be involved in this joint project.

So, what is up and coming for the band over the next year?

Lots of touring. Recording a new album should begin in early 2005. Gigs in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Switzerland, Columbia, UK and America.

Do you have anything you¹d like to say to your fans? Any comments on the tour?

Just a massive thank you for your support, keep rocking and catch us on the UK tour next month.

Thank you for your time and we wish you all the best on your upcoming October Tour!

Thanks, God Bless you my children..
